With an election announced earlier than expected, Stop School Cuts campaigners have been quick to jump into action, ensuring that all parliamentary candidates know that decent school funding is non-negotiable.

Supporters have ordered more than half a million leaflets and over 300 banners – incredible numbers showing the steadfast commitment of teachers and parents to our children’s education.

From Exeter to Canterbury, London to Norfolk, Birmingham to Hull, Sunderland to Penrith, we’ve had supporters ordering materials from literally every corner of the country.

At the Exeter Respect Festival, Stop School Cuts supporters held a stall, sharing the realities of school cuts in Devon and raising awareness of the campaign.

In Poole, three supporters have been going out every Tuesday morning to leaflet at different schools, taking their banner and upbeat energy with them.

In Warwickshire, supporters set up a stall, where they handed out leaflets and shared the impacts of cuts on schools in Warwickshire with other locals.

In Cheshire East, supporters held a bowling social with their campaign materials. They put together graphics of the event and shared photos alongside school cuts statistics on their social media – a powerful combination of online and offline campaigning!

Some teachers have even been leafleting their whole staff team, bringing in educators who feel the impacts of school cuts everyday to the campaign..

And on the railings of schools all around the country, supporters have hung banners showing the truth about school funding cuts.

There is a place for everyone in the Stop School Cuts movement.
